Are Vans Knu Skool True to Size? A Detailed Guide to Its Sizing!

Are Vans Knu Skool True to Size

The Vans Knu Skool has been gaining increasing recognition over the past few months. These sneakers are a nice blend of a classic icon with today’s trends. It got popular due to its unique look and comfortable feel. Moreover, it is durable and long-lasting.

The Knu Skool was originally created back in 1997, but now it has been redesigned with its low-top classic build, puffy tongue and three-dimensional Jazz Stripe.

But due to their puffy look, many people ask about the sneakers and whether they are true to size or fit any good.

How Does Vans Knu Skool Fit?

How Does Vans Knu Skool Fit

Well, honestly, many people on TikTok and Instagram were suggesting going up half a size. But I didn’t do that; I stuck to my own size and it fits me really well.

Their toe box is a bit narrow but their footbed is fairly wide. The tongue on these shoes initially makes them feel a bit snug, taking up some space. However, after breaking them in, they become super comfy.

Moreover, the Knu Skool feels really plush, similar to a Vans Half Cab; you can skate in it. No need to go for any size up; they’re already chunky and going up will make your feet float inside the shoe.

So, if you ask me, my honest recommendation is to stick with your size. They fit true to size with a classic insole. If you are still unsure about the size, you can also visit their shop.

Is the Vans Knu Skool Comfortable?

Yes! The Vans Knu Skool is flying off the shelves because it’s super comfortable and gives off a really nice look with its big laces. These shoes are lightweight and nicely breathable.

Built-wise, they are pretty durable. The suede upper and vulcanized outsole also help to absorb shock and provide good cushioning. This makes Vans Knu Skool a good choice for all-day wear. Moreover, there’s a noticeable, large, puffy tongue that adds softness. This tongue gives a really nice look but it also makes it difficult to tighten the laces.

Inside shoes, we have the insoles, which are a bit thin, so they do hurt a little if you wear them for a longer period of time. Other than that, it’s really nice to have them on your feet.

I wouldn’t suggest these shoes for running or working out. They are specifically designed for skateboarding and are best suited for that purpose. Yet, for casual strolls in the park or a trip to the mall, they feel perfectly comfortable and nice.

How To Style With Vans Knu Skool?

PROGRESS 5

The Knu Skool may seem a bit chunky and unusual, but it fits in well and stays stylish throughout the year.

Below are some of my personal styling recommendations for Vans Knu Skools. You can try them too. They look dope in these clothes.

Normals

For an easy-going look, you can wear Vans Knu Skool with your go-to jeans and a t-shirt or hoodie. That’s what being normal looks like, right?

Street Usuals

If you’re thinking of hitting the street with Vans Knu Skools, you can try putting them on with some cargo pants. Wear them with a graphic tee or oversized sweatshirt, and finish the look with a snapback or beanie.

Smart-Casual Switch

If you want a mix of both street and casual, I’d say try dressing up your Knu Skools with chinos or tailored trousers. Combine them with a crisp button-down shirt or a trendy blouse for a polished yet relaxed look.

Skaters

Talking about skate sneakers and leaving skaters’ get up wouldn’t be fair. Wear Knu Skools with cuffed jeans or shorts, throw on a loose graphic tee or a skater-style hoodie, and add some worn-in accessories.

Sleek Monochrome

My personal favorite way of wearing Knu Skool is a bit different. I love wearing them in a clean and stylish way—just pair them with an all-black or all-white outfit. It’s a simple and modern look that boosts my confidence.

Final Thoughts: Are Vans Knu Skool True to Size?

Yes! They are true-to-size and give a nice snug fit when you put them on. I love the comfort they offer and the way they look with any outfit. They are also very comfortable and they can be worn for skating without feeling worn out. Plus, they are made with high-quality materials and are built to last. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a stylish and comfortable pair of shoes.

Grab a pair as soon as you can; bigger sizes are selling out faster so you need to act a bit fast.
