And yeah, to some extent, they’ve got a point. If your feet are on the wider side, you’re definitely going to feel that snug fit. (Especially in your toes.)

But if you’ve got regular or narrow feet (like me), then forget about sizing up or down. Just stick to your usual size.

No need to go up or down for those who have narrow feet. Sure, at first, the toe box might feel a bit tight even for them, and the puffy tongue also messes up with the fit, taking up all the space. But give them some time to break in, and they’ll loosen up just fine.

My suggestion:

• If you’ve got regular or narrow feet, stick with your normal size. They’re already chunky enough.
• If you’ve got wider feet, go up half a size for a comfortable fit.

Are Vans Knu Skool Any Comfortable?

Well, I wouldn’t call them amazing, but yeah, they’re definitely good!

The cushioning on these shoes is impressive. You’ve got extra padding everywhere—around the collar, the tongue, and the upper. Sadly, the insole is a bit thin and non-removable, which just makes me angry every time.

But what’s good here is all this extra cushioning doesn’t make the shoe heavy. It stays soft, lightweight, and comfy.

Speaking of more, the breathability on this shoe is solid too. The upper is airy enough that even with socks on, your feet won’t get too hot or sweaty.

In my opinion, these shoes are great for casual styling and could even work as a beginner skate shoe. But don’t use them for running or working out—they’re not made for such activities. For things like walking in the park or going to the mall, they stay fine.

Overall, in comfort, I’d rate it 7.5 out of 10.

How Should You Really Style Vans Knu Skool?
